THE 2018 GAME DESIGN SHOWCASE IS HERE!

The annual Cornell Game Design Initiative Showcase is upon us. The showcase will feature games from multiple games courses over the past year. As always, we have a strong collection of PC and mobile games.

Last year was an amazingly strong year for mobile and smartphone games. Manic Moving Mansion Mania won Best Student Game at Boston FIG. Underhand went viral on Reddit and has over 600,000 downloads on Android. But despite all that, this year looks even stronger. The innovation in our mobile design class continues to grow. We have rhythm games, deep strategy games, and even experimental AR games. There is something for everyone.

The showcase is open to the general public, so that everyone can play and experience and the games. In addition, the public is welcome to vote for the favorite in the award ceremony at the end. Come and see what the excitement is all about.

Date: Friday, May 18th
Time: 4-7pm
Venue: ACCEL Labs in Carpenter Hall

See our Showcase page for more information.
