2025 Games Showcase
This year’s showcase is May 17th.
Place: Clark Atrium, Physical Sciences Building Date: Saturday, May 17 Time: 1-4 pm
With the end of the semester, the annual GDIAC Showcase returns. This family-friendly event is open to the public, as we love getting input from the community. The Showcase will include student game projects from the past year. This includes both a large collection of PC and mobile games.
Here is just a sample of some of the projects that you will see at our Showcase.
Goosery Store: The team behind last year’s popular stealth cooking game – Le Petit Raccoon – has returned with a spiritual sequel. Manage your grocery store while keeping those wily raccoons from stealing all your produce.
Trigger Happy: Challenge up to five of your friends to a duel in this game of playful western-style gunfights. This card game is interesting enough to appeal to veteran deck-builders while still being accessible to a wider audience.
Slicegeist: Play against a friend in the two-person multiplayer mobile game. The Poltercrust seeks to sabotage the local pizzeria by possessing its workers. It is up to the Exorslicer to hunt this spook down to save those college deliveries.
Deadalus: Survive against waves of horrors in an ancient Greek labyrinth. As a crafty mechanic, you have a wide variety of traps at your disposal. However, your torches do not last forever, threatening to plunge you into darkness.
Zoodini: An octopus and a cat might not seem like a natural duo. But together they have a plan to escape the zoo and earn their freedom in this puzzle-based stealth game.
Cartastrophe: Race through the grocery store to gather all the items on your mother’s list. Dodge oblivious crowds and other shoppers to finish the job before your mother wonders what happened to you.
For more information on our games, as it becomes available, see our dedicated Showcase page.
The Showcase is open to the general public, so that everyone can play and experience these projects. There is limited parking available behind the Physical Sciences Building adjacent to the Bailey Hall performance center. It is also a short walk from Uris Hall, which is supported by TCAT Route 51 on the weekends.
In addition to the exhibits, the public is welcome to vote for the favorite in the award ceremony at the end. Come see what all of the excitement is about, and support our students!
